The Holy Trinity is a controversial subject. But as I have read and studied the Bible, I have found the word of God shows God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit working as one. These verses here are an example of that. Another section of scripture that points to the 3 working as one is when Jesus is baptized in Matthew 3:13-17.
There is another group that works as one unit in the Word of God. That is the church, the Body of Christ. We are all one in Christ, but have different duties, purposes, gifts by the Holy Spirit, and talents.
Lastly, Tertullian, a Christian author who lived from 155AD to 230AD, was the first to use the phrase Trinity. The Trinity has always been around since the beginning of time in Genesis. John speaks of the Trinity in John 1. What Tertullian did was give it a name, to identify it so we could recognize it in its full glory.
